The latest version of the Walkadoo iPhone app integrates with Apple's HealthKit, which means steps tracked by your Apple Watch and synced to your iPhone's Health app will now sync to Walkadoo as well.
It's important to note that Walkadoo does not have a dedicated Apple Watch app, rather you'll still need to use the Walkadoo iPhone app.
If you're already using the step tracker built into the Walkadoo iPhone app, you can download the latest version of the app via the link above. After downloading the update, you'll be prompted to re-authorize Walkadoo to receive your step data. For questions about syncing your Apple Watch with your iPhone's Health app, please refer to Apple support.
If you're currently using a different step tracker with Walkadoo (like a Fitbit, Garmin, or Misfit, for example) and would like to use your Apple Watch instead, you'll need to download the Walkadoo iPhone app, open it, and log in to your Walkadoo account. Once logged into your account via the Walkadoo app, follow these instructions:
1. Tap "My profile" in the bottom-righthand corner
2. Tap the gear icon in the top-righthand corner of your profile
3. Tap "Step Tracker," then select "Use this iPhone to track my steps"
4. Tap "Change to my iPhone anyway"
Walkadoo will automatically start receiving step data that's synced from your Apple Watch to your iPhone's Health app. For questions about syncing your Apple Watch with your iPhone's Health app, please refer to Apple support.
